December 24, 2005--Most Americans (58%) say they will attend a Christian Church service on Christmas Eve or Christmas Day this year. This includes 66% of married Americans and 43% who are not married.

Seventy-two percent (72%) of Americans say that they would like the holiday season to focus more on celebrating the birth of Jesus. Middle income Americans are more likely to want an increased focus on Jesus than those at either with higher or lower income.

Seventy-nine percent (79%) of Americans have set up a Christmas Tree in their home.

When shopping, 67% of Americans want to see signs saying "Merry Christmas" while 24% prefer "Happy Holidays."

Fifty-six percent (56%) say that they generally find the holiday season joyous. Thirty-nine percent (39%) say they find it stressful. Women are more likely than men to find the holiday season stressful.
